"What is farming and agriculture" farming is the act of growing crops and raising animals , while agriculture is the science of farming. Farming is about planting and growing of crops and the rearing of animals and it's management.

 Farming is the act of growing crops  rearing or raising animals in the farm managed by a person called the farmer, the farmer is the owner or manager of the farm . countries and people suffer food scarcity and lack of raw materials for companies and industries because lots of men and women have moved to cities or urban areas in search of white collar job,  the negligence of leadership and government to develope the local community by providing the needed social amenities to improve life and farming activities and business. People move to cities to experience city life for possible jobs oppotunities that  are  hardly available in the rural areas due to underdevelopment and negligence even though moving to the urban areas doesn't guarantee job opportunities. The farmer whether a peasant farmer or otherwise  need some forms of motivation or insentive by leaders and government  in some aspects of farming. The number of people into farming have dropped significantly , The fact that we have few individuals in farming and agriculture  has contributed to high unemployment in our society today. The few hands in farming are not producing enough food for citizens and animals , and for companies and industries as raw materials. The need for food and raw materials for the ever growing population of the world is on the increase and need urgent intervention from the appropriate department to cushion the effect. The Science of farming from my perspective is  not to substitute food production or to stop farming, it's about improving the mechanism in farming. Farming is  food and food is a source of  energy necessary for human existence among many. Farming and agriculture provide raw materials for companies and industries for the  manufacturing of items and products that improves human and animals life. Example, medicine, beverages etc. Farming is about growing crops and raising animals in addition to other activities in the farm.
